I have been a diehard Oilers fan since they joined the NHL in 1979, when I was 7 years old. I was lucky enough to experience the Dynasty years of the 80's and I look forward to enjoying another Oilers Dynasty with a whole new generation of Oilers players and fans.

I have been known as Oilfreak for a very long time, since around 2001. My first official online use of the Oilfreak name was in 2009 when I signed up for my first ever social media account, Twitter and as they say the rest is history. Our online presence has grown over the years to include X (Twitter), Facebook, Instagram, Tik Tok, Youtube, this website and our Shopify store. 

We started attending Oilers and Oilers fan events and fund raisers for various individuals, groups and charities. This is when we started getting to know and building relationships with the well known and established Edmonton Oilers Superfan members and community. The most well known of which being Superfan Magoo, Mama Stanley, McMullet, Banjoguy, Northside Norm, The Ekholms, as well as all of their better halves. The entire group and community have been extremely welcoming and supportive of us, without the friendship and support of all of these amazing people we would not be who we are today.

We have become known and recognizable because of our decaled truck, our custom made fan apparel and merchandise, as well as our various stickers, which are a long running tradition amongst the various Oilers Superfans. Make sure to get your stickers whenever you run into any of us and collect your full set.

My Wife has always supported the time and money that I have invested in my love of this team and this community, in fact, she has become fully invested herself and is now known as Mrs Oilfreak and displays this on her own custom apparel. She and our daughter are a huge part in the creation, design and production of our various apparel and merchandise lines as well as the website and the store. The newest member of the Oilfreaks is the newest member of our family, our pooch Kenzie. She has become a full fledged Oilfreak that loves to put on her Oilers gear and join us at events, convoys and rallies. She loves driving around, hearing the horns honking, seeing the lights flashing and meeting all the Oilers fans. She is also shown in our most popular sticker, our truck doodle sticker.
